Mallorca is a paradise for food enthusiasts, boasting an incredible variety of restaurants offering cuisines from around the world, including tapas, Mexican, Japanese, Asian, Mediterranean, and street food. After running a newsletter for over three years, we've gained extensive knowledge on the island's best dining spots. Each year, we update our list of top 40 favourite restaurants, drawing insights from our interviews with local residents. These interviews feature personal recommendations on their go-to dining spots, helping us curate a dynamic, must-try list for you to explore.
This year, many of the featured restaurants are located in Palma. Why, you might ask? Because Palma is a treasure trove of culinary delights, packed with both long standing favourites and exciting new additions. But don't worry, there are plenty of incredible spots outside Palma as well. El Camino

Located on the roof terrace of the Bikini Island & Mountain Hotel in Port Soller. The Israeli-oriental cuisine is enjoyed "Balagan style". Another longstanding favourite of ours, it is the perfect spot for an evening meal after exploring Port Soller. Take a pre-drink in the Donkey bar.

Understated spot in the Son Espanyolet neighbourhood of Palma. The serve some of the most amazing sushi rolls on the entire island. Great prices and amazing service. Without a doubt, one of our go-to Japanese restauants in an ever-increasing list of outstanding options.
