Palma de Mallorca Airport (PMI), located just 8 kilometers (5 miles) east of Palma, is the gateway to the island and one of Spain's busiest airports. The airport features a modern, well-organised layout with four terminals (A, B, C, and D) and clearly marked facilities. Most car rental companies have desks conveniently located within the arrivals area or a short shuttle ride away from the terminal. Picking up a rental car at the airport provides easy access to Palma via the Ma-19 highway, a quick 10-15 minute drive with stunning views of the Mediterranean as you approach the city. Top tips for driving in Mallorca
Drive on the right: In Mallorca, like the rest of Spain, you drive on the right-hand side of the road.
