Tell us a bit about yourself and what you do?

I'm from England originally and I moved to Mallorca in 2018 after spending 4 years at University in America playing football (soccer) and studying business. In 2018, when I first arrived on the island, my brother Archie and I spent 18 months renovating a derelict townhouse in Sóller, when we finished the project and sold it on to a new family we decided this was what we wanted to do and that is when our company Berrow Projects started. We are a family-led architectural design-build team based in Sóller. We transform local properties that are full of stories and character into luxury finished homes for modern buyers.

In 2019, along with my parents (Michael and Frances), my brother (Archie), and our Cousin (Grace), we stumbled upon a very run-down chiringuito in Port de Sóller. Dad had always dreamt of having a beach club in Mallorca and Grace is a very talented chef so together, we decided to go for it and that is where our restaurant Patiki Beach was born! We had no clue what we were getting into and no restaurant experience but we figured it out along the way and just created a place that we would like to hang out at

Our latest project in Mallorca is The Sóller Tennis club. This is the municipal sports club in Sóller which we are operating and developing. It is the sporting heart of Sóller with 5 tennis courts, 4 Padel courts, and a 25-meter swimming pool. We are making gradual improvements to the infrastructure, design & landscape, and introducing a new food concept in the coming weeks!

Instagram worth following?

@savethemedfoundation they are on a mission to "enable the Mediterranean Sea to recover its rich biodiversity and to thrive in harmony with prospering, environmentally conscious and proactive local populations". So following and supporting them is worthwhile!

Favourite place to swim?

Favourite place to swim? Early mornings at the Soller tennis club. The 25-meter pool has amazing views of the Tramuntana mountains and is so peaceful in the mornings.

Favourite restaurant?

I am biased but Patiki Beach! I also love Blai Bar in Port de Sóller and Bar Bodega in Biniaraix.

Favourite bar, cafe or bakery?

Hotto just opened recently in Palma, their coffee and sandwiches are amazing.

Who is making a product we should know about?

Viti Vinci! Victor and his talented team of scent scientists make the most amazing fragrances. They have a coastal sanctuary in Mallorca where they grow aromatic and medicinal plants which are handpicked and distilled into luxury fragrances. They have a beautiful boutique store in Palma Old Town which is a must visit.

Best month of the year on Mallorca?

May and October, before and after the summer heat and tourist overload.

What is your favourite town in Mallorca?

Has to be Sóller, it is where we always came on holiday growing up and where our businesses are now. The architecture, culture, year-round community, and beautiful landscapes make it so special.

What is your favourite hotel on the island?

I love Sant Francesc Hotel Singular for a more formal city townhouse vibe, and also their sister hotel Can Ferrereta in Santanyi for a more laid-back lazy vibe is amazing.

What is one other secret/great tip about Mallorca that you'd like to share with our readers?

If you are new to the island or just looking to expand your social circle then The Good Circle is an amazing community to meet new people and discover new places!
