Golf in Mallorca explained

  • It all depends on the season you visit and whether you choose to play 9 or 18 holes. You're looking at around 40 € minimum for a round of 9 holes and up to 150 € in the peak summer season for a full 18 holes.

  • No - membership is not required. All the Mallorcan golf courses will accept visitors.

  • Yes, all the courses we featured have club and buggy hire.

  • Yes, absolutely. Some courses are tougher than others but every course will welcome beginners in Mallorca.



Son Muntaner Golf Course

Bordering Son Vida and Son Xigala, Son Muntaner is renowned as one of the most beautiful courses on the island, it is surrounded by beautiful landscapes. It also features 'Na Capitana,' the oldest olive tree on Mallorca, proudly displayed on the club’s logo.


Son Quint Golf Course

Also in Son Xigala, the course was designed by Rossknecht and Ramón Espinosa and opened in 2007. This course offers a generally easier playing experience. However, the stunning views of the Bay of Palma can be quite distracting.


Son Vida Golf Course

Son Vida Golf is the third course situated in the Son Vida area. This course is the island’s oldest layout, a charming spot where many of the game’s greats have competed, including Seve Ballesteros, who claimed victory here in 1990.


Alcanada Golf Course

The most scenic course on the island, and probably the best. Located in Alcudia, its renowned for its breathtaking Mediterranean views and exceptional course design by Robert Trent Jones Jr. Opened in 2003, this 18-hole course integrates natural landscapes, offering challenging play with strategically placed hazards and undulating greens.


Andratx Golf Course
