Tell us a bit about yourself and what you do?

I’m Elsa, born and raised in Sweden, I’ve lived in many different places around the world but ended up on this beautiful island now since five years. I live with my Spanish husband and our two kids in the Tramuntana region, on the outskirts of the village Esporles. I’ve always found it important to use natural and organic products for my family. That led me to making most of our skin care products myself. Out of this passion “Terra Luna” was born and for the last few years I make and sell my products around the island.

Instagram worth following?

My amazing friend Gabrielle Anand is always inspiring me with her posts on Instagram. She’s a kundalini yoga teacher here on the island and teaches both classes and hold retreats.

I also would love for more people to follow @terra.luna.botanicals so I can reach more people who want to use local and sustainable skin care products.

Favourite place to swim?

Anywhere in the natural park of Mondragó in the southeast.

Favourite restaurant?

Bar Esperanza in Sa Rapita by the beach Es Trenc is a place that we always come back to because of the food and the great vibe. In Palma we love to go get tacos at L’Informal

Favourite bar, cafe or bakery?

I go to Café Doble in Esporles several times a week, the coffee is great and everything they serve is delicious!

Who is making a product we should know about?

I am, my most popular product is the Terra Luna Tramuntana Unisex Deodorant. I have made it and used it myself for 11 years now and I can’t live without it. It has only natural ingredients and works so great. My husband does a lot of sports and he swears by it.

Best month of the year on Mallorca?

April and May. Everything is green and it’s not too hot. I love the excitement of spring in the air.

What is your favourite town in Mallorca?

I love Esporles because it’s quiet yet charming. It’s full of life all year around and the community is great.

What is your favourite hotel on the island?

I really recommend discovering the countryside when visiting this island and the Tramuntana region in particular. I’ve never stayed there but heard very good things about Can Torna, an “agroturismo” which will give you an authentic experience of living in a Mallorquin finca.

What is one other secret/great tip about Mallorca that you'd like to share with our readers?

Visit Mallorca off season, avoid the summer months!
